Project Specification
While I would love to give you a fancy breakdown of all of the parts used, I am running out of time to
get this project done. So, you will just have to settle for some pictures of the device. You
can click on each picture to see a full size image. If
you really need some help figuring it out, go to the snowathome website. They have a great
breakdown of the parts and an explanation of how it all works. We pretty much followed their
plans with the addition of a quick connect for the compressor.
As for the compressor, I had one I use in the garage for the cars and such. Since we were at low
pressure and low flow rate, we could have used any compressor. If you are just interested in
experimenting you could probably use one of the sub $100 compressors and a garden hose. If you
are really serious about making some large volume of snow, you better get one of the $200+ models and
use the pressure washer as prescribed. We plan to use the pressure washer on our next event
(just as soon as the weather is right) and wil post the results here.
